THE POOL?
Montjuïc swimming pool “Piscines Municipals de Montjuïc” at the Montjuïc Mountain in Barcelona, Spain. This is a fabulous outdoor Olympic swimming pool built for the 1992 Olympic Games diving events. It has a seating capacity of 4.100 spectators and has breathtaking panoramic views of the city, which makes it a very demmanding site for water events and even film shootings.
The swimming pool measures (25.0 m. x 25.0 m.) will be reduced using temporary lanes to 25.0m / Width: 10.0 m. Depth: 5.0 m. Baskets are hooked to the wall.
GAME SCHEDULE
The game schedule depends on the number of participating teams. Games will last at least 10 minutes, and a minimum of 4 games per team is guaranteed. The final game schedule will be sent out by e-mail to the contact person for each team.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The deadline is the 30th of June 2009. Advanced registration for every team is made by sending an e-mail to: openbcn08@gmail.com. The accepted teams will later have to send the attached letter properly filled in to the same email address.
ENTRY FEE & DEADLINE PAYMENT
130 EUR per team – until 6TH of June 2009. Entrance fee should be paid via bank transfer, clearly marking "BARCELONA CUP’09”, to the following bank details:

Any bank or transfer expenses should be paid by the club who is registering.
RULES
CMAS UWR rules will apply, with exception of “Special rules”. Playing and pause time will be adjusted depending on the number of participating teams.
REFEREES
Every team has to provide two referees. (named upon registration). The team registering will have to pay 25 € for each referee not provided. Any referees that do not show up to a scheduled game will be fined an extra 25 € per referee per game.
PROTESTS
Protest fee is € 25. Any written protest must be submitted to the Tournament Management within 30 minutes after the corresponding game ends.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
Taking part in this Cup takes place at one own risks. The hosting club and collaborating institutes will not be considered liable for any personal or material damages or loss.
